The firm draws its inspiration from Ms. Messervy's philosophy that gardens and parks can be soul-nurturing places, oases deeply rooted in outdoor archetypes, childhood imagination and aesthetic impulses. Unearthing Your Inward Garden - Conceptual Design

We work closely with our clients throughout the design process, beginning with proprietary visioning and brainstorming exercises that help us unearth their unique inward garden to be crafted within the landscape.

The Dream on Paper - Schematic Design/Design Development

Ideas are refined and translated into illustrative, hand-drawn renderings of a design that flows and links together stimulating elements to reflect both the client’s and designer’s inward garden.

Shepherding Installation - Construction Observation

Ensuring perfection during the installation, JMMDS becomes onsite consultants to shepherd and craft the many details that turn the dream into reality.
