This is my Home Outside.

What does your Home Outside look like?

In January we told you that we were working on a top secret project. Well, this is it. After eighteen months of work, we have released our Home Outside Design iPhone app, now available in the App Store on iTunes.

Produced in collaboration with All Dreams Digital, the Home Outside Design (HOD) app features more than 280 beautiful hand-drawn elements—including houses, trees, gardens, stones, paths, patios, furniture, and more—created by our very talented Bethany Gracia. Users can place, move, flip, duplicate, and rotate the elements to mock up their own property or create an imaginary dreamscape. They can then email their designs to friends or to JMMDS for possible inclusion in our online portfolio.

Julie’s book Home Outside: Creating the Landscape You Love showed homeowners that they could create their own unique and personal landscapes. Home Outside Design, our online design service, put first-class landscape design within reach for all homeowners, even those on a budget. Now, with the HOD app, anyone can create beautiful designs.
