Julie Moir Messervy

With the recent publication of Landscaping Ideas That Work, Julie’s kicking off a busy  season with her signature inspiration-packed lectures and slideshows. From the Northeast to the Northwest, with a quick dip below the Mason-Dixon line, her schedule over the next couple months will take her to the following venues.

JANUARY 25 – BRATTLEBORO, VERMONT

January 25: Garden Inspirations Workshop at the Latchis Theater in Brattleboro, VT. Tickets are still available for this day-long, information-packed workshop featuring four landscaping stars: Gordon Hayward, Dan Snow, Helen O’Donnell, and Julie.

JANUARY 27 – ATLANTIC CITY, NJ

Keynote lecture on Home Outside for the New Jersey Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects’ Annual Meeting.(Sorry, this event is not open to the public.)

FEBRUARY 5-9 – SEATTLE, WA

Julie will be a Show Judge and Speaker at the 2014 Northwest Flower & Garden Show. See the website for schedule and ticket information.

FEBRUARY 12 – RICHMOND, VA

“The New Homestead” and “The Art of Plant Placement” lectures at the 2014 Winter Symposium at the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden.

FEBRUARY 16 – MANCHESTER, VT

Lecture and book-signing for Landscaping Ideas That Work at the Northshire Bookstore at 3 p.m.

FEBRUARY 22 – KANSAS CITY, MO


Lecture on Home Outside at the 2014 Gardeners Connect Garden Symposium at the Nelson-Atkins Art Museum in Kansas City, MO.

MARCH 1 – ROCHESTER, NY

Lectures on Landscaping Ideas That Work and Home Outside at the Rochester Civic Garden Center Spring Symposium in Rochester, NY.

MARCH 2 – SARATOGA, NY

Lecture and book-signing for Landscaping Ideas That Work at the Northshire Bookstore at 2 p.m.

APRIL 4WELLESLEY, MA

Keynote lecture on Landscaping Ideas That Work, sponsored by the Wellesley Joint Council of Garden Clubs. Not open to the public.

 Editor’s note: The dates for the NW Flower & Garden Show were previously incorrectly listed as February 4-9. The event is open to the public February 5-9.
